Filling Ingredients 📝

  • ●3 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • ●1/2 cup peas
  • ●1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ●1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • ●Salt to taste
  • ●Fresh coriander (optional)
  • ●1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)

Making the Filling 🥔

Step 1: Prepare Potatoes

  • ●Ask adult to boil potatoes
  • ●Peel when cool
  • ●Mash with a fork (you can do this!)

Step 2: Mix Everything

  • ●Add peas to mashed potatoes
  • ●Add all the spices
  • ●Mix well with your hands
  • ●Taste and add salt if needed

Step 3: Make Balls

  • ●Take small amounts of filling
  • ●Roll into balls
  • ●Set aside for folding

This is the tricky part - practice makes perfect!

How to Fold:

  1. ●Take a semi-circle of dough
  2. ●Fold one corner to the center
  3. ●Fold the other corner over it
  4. ●You get a cone shape!
  5. ●Put filling inside
  6. ●Seal the top with water
