The Clever Mulla Nasruddin đ
Mulla Nasruddin is a beloved character from folk tales told across Pakistan, Turkey, and many other countries. He uses his clever wit to teach important lessons while making us laugh!
Story 1: The Missing Donkey đŤ
One sunny day, Mulla Nasruddin was walking through the village, looking everywhere - under carts, behind buildings, even in people's gardens!
The villagers asked, "Mulla Sahib, what are you looking for?"
"My donkey! I've lost my donkey!" cried Mulla, but strangely, he was smiling.
"But Mulla, why are you smiling if you lost your donkey?" asked a confused neighbor.
Mulla laughed and said, "I'm happy because I wasn't sitting on the donkey when it got lost. Otherwise, I would be lost too!"
Lesson: Always look at the bright side of things! đ
Story 2: The Wise Judge đ¨ââď¸
Two men came to Mulla Nasruddin with a problem.
The first man said, "Mulla, this man owes me money!"
The second man said, "Mulla, I don't owe him anything!"
Mulla listened carefully to the first man and said, "You are right."
Then he listened to the second man and said, "You are right too."
His wife, who was listening, said, "Mulla, they can't both be right!"
Mulla smiled and said, "You know what? You are also right!"
Lesson: Sometimes, everyone has their own truth! đ¤
Story 3: The Pot That Had Babies đ˛
Mulla borrowed a pot from his neighbor. A few days later, he returned the pot with a smaller pot inside it.
"What's this?" asked the surprised neighbor.
"Your pot had a baby!" said Mulla.
The happy neighbor took both pots. A week later, Mulla borrowed the pot again. But this time, he didn't return it.
"Where's my pot?" demanded the neighbor.
Mulla sadly said, "I'm sorry, but your pot died."
"That's impossible! Pots don't die!" shouted the neighbor.
Mulla replied, "If you believed it could have babies, why can't you believe it could die?"
Lesson: Don't believe everything you hear without thinking! đ§
