The Flag's Meaning đâ
The Pakistani flag has deep meaning:
- âGreen - represents Islam and the Muslim majority
- âWhite - represents minorities and peace
- âCrescent Moon - symbol of progress
- âFive-Pointed Star - symbol of light and knowledge
Materials Needed đŚ
- âGreen construction paper
- âWhite construction paper
- âScissors (ask an adult to help!)
- âGlue stick
- âA wooden stick or straw
- âWhite crayon or chalk (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions đ
Step 1: Cut the Rectangle
- âCut the green paper into a rectangle (about 8 inches Ă 5 inches)
- âThis will be the main part of your flag
Step 2: Add the White Strip
- âCut a white strip (about 2 inches wide)
- âGlue it on the LEFT side of the green rectangle
- âThis represents minorities and peace
Step 3: Create the Crescent Moon đ
- âDraw a crescent moon shape on white paper
- âCut it out carefully
- âThe crescent should be tilted to the right
Step 4: Create the Star â
- âDraw a five-pointed star on white paper
- âMake it fit inside the crescent
- âCut it out carefully
Step 5: Assemble!
- âGlue the crescent moon in the CENTER of the green part
- âGlue the star inside the crescent
- âLet it dry!
Step 6: Add the Stick
- âTape or glue the flag to your stick
- âWave it proudly!
